Chic Petite Events presents the 2nd “Launch my label” a quarterly fashion show for new designers of Australia to showcase their collection. It will be held at an amazing heritage building in Sydney (close to Central Station). It will be the first fashion show at this location. Chic Petite events has been organising fashion events for the last 5 years, designers, media and buyers who will be invited to the show.

Slow Burn showcases the best works of Australian artists who happen to be female. Slow Burn presents ninety three Australian artists ranging from the delicate pastels of Janet Cumbrae Stewart to the modernist prints of Margaret Preston through to the bio-techno sculptures of Patricia Piccinini. The works in the exhibition demonstrate the skill and versatility of women artists over the past hundred years. Slow Burn is a private collection(s). Come the 20th September your chance to immerse yourself in this great pool of work will be gone.

Every Saturday, young eager Artisan Bakers-in-training fill our training room learning how to bake their very own tasty treats from pizza scrolls to chocolate-filled animals. Relax with coffee and nibbles in our award-winning Cafe and watch your kids bake up a storm!
10 kids/class, and classes run for an hour, kids 5-12 are welcome. Bookings are essential, ring us early as classes fill up fast!

Sunday – Sydney Dance Festival

The directors of the Australian Dance Festival warmly invite you to take part in the festivities of this jam packed weekend!
The 2nd Annual Australian Dance Festival is set to go ahead at the iconic Sydney Town Hall on September 4th and 5th 2010. The aim of the festival is to provide
opportunities for Australia’s dance community to showcase their talents in a non-competitive environment, and to encourage more people to take up dance as part of a healthy lifestyle. During the festival, you can see dance performances from the winners of So You Think You Can Dance,side by side with Balkan Folk Dancing, and Chinese Fan dance. The Festival also offers the opportunity to try
different dance classes with some of Australia’s best dance choreographers, and shop around in an expo dedicated to dance.
